A dark-haired doll..... (when I showed her to my son he said: she looks like you!)..... hand dyed linen and a mix of hand dyed and vintage fabrics... She likes the chair, and feels it gives her a certain authority... all those words......
chairs - papier mache chairs, finally completed...... I have been working on these, on and off, for several weeks now...
and a pointy hat chap testing out a chair.... he's hoping for a few friends to arrive, some time soon...I'm so pleased the sun came out - I was hoping it would so that I could take these photos....
enjoy your weekend....x

Love the use of vintage fabric. The chairs certainly do invite new occupants- you're going to be busy!
OH my gosh, these scenes!! I just love everything!!
What a beautiful still life the chairs make with the boxes and the painting. It's gorgeous!
Love it all...such temptation for a woman with a chair fetish!
Amazing, looking so serene. Really beautiful.
Inspirational, as always, love the sculptural-ness (sorry, probably not a proper word) of those chairs.
words words words. we do give them a certain authority don't we? i like that they are plasterd on the chairs-mute to a degree. immobile.
helps me to better hear happy hat chap's thoughts.
and the chair shadows...
i like all the squares created by the empty spaces and the shadows....makes the whole scene look a bit like a quilt!
Beautiful pieces! Beautiful photography!
they look WONDERFUL grouped together like that. don't you like it when you've completed a series of work and can photograph it all together?
looking forward to seeing more.....x
these are just amazing... the dolls and the chairs!
I so enjoy seeing your dolls. The dark haired doll is a beauty and the chairs make a perfect place to sit.
I love her and particularly her hair!
