She certainly looks like she knows what she wants, and how to get it!I'm really enjoying your tiny head challenge--they've all got such distinct personalities. Have you any plans to turn any of them into dolls after your challenge is finished? It would be fascinating to see!
she looks determined and brave. what i most enjoy about the challenge is how we can imagine what each is like by seeing only each face.
i am enjoying watching the development of these faces. how do you enjoy handling the paper clay? and your photographic handling is also quite interesting to see.
amazing...the volume of personality, attitude, even "thoughts" that seem to emanate from your wonder filled offerings.
Very nice project Cathy... Im curious to see how the faces will change during the year,
It's interesting that when I try to pinpoint what it is about her that feels scary, it keeps shifting, as though she has multiple expressions all in one, or layers that reveal themselves as I look closer. This one made me think about this book...Ode to the Human FaceSeeing/Molding the Human Face as MeditationFrederick Franckhttp://www.steinerbooks.org/detail.html?id=9781930337121Have you ever seen it?
