little black dress

paper dolly

A folk doll - in papier mache, wearing a hand-stitched linen skirt and a little pearl..... She is one of a new series I am working on right now.... I am aiming at the middle-end of this month to have a selection completed....

Until then, back to work on her sisters....

hope your week is going well

How dear and quaint, like a beloved relative come to life. Could this be Jane Eyre or Violet Goodenough's sister?
Have you seen the movie "Somewhere in Time" with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour? The past holds our imagination differently than the future.

The pearl necklace is an heirloom for sure! It sets off the wee black dress perfectly. As I've said on 'pinterest' you are my favorite doll artist. This doll is one of the reasons why. She is brilliant! *smiles* Norma
