I made it to 100 - sepia photos so far this year, that is. I wanted this one to have a vintage greetings card feel about it, something nostalgic about sparrows, they make me think of London parks and gardens.... it has been raining raining raining rain all weekend. There was a moment when the rain stopped, just long enough for me to dash to the recycling bin with recycling items, get my camera and creep up on a tree to photograph sparrows - as you do on a Sunday afternoon. I've been making Sundays more about reading lately, so have had my nose in a book, finished Virginia Woolf and moving on to John Burnside. And watching my daughter work in her very large sketchbook for Art GCSE coursework. Drawing hands.
Also, a new post (after a bit of a break) over at nevering today - a piece of early draft writing that might become something longer.
