portraits - a new selection of faces have appeared in my shop today
the kindest folk - a mixed media collage made into a little folding book - with monoprint drawings, stitch portraits too....
many thanks - have a good weekend x
Cathy I love the red touch in the portrait gallery. The red bow in the hair touches me a lot! Sweetness and light. The illustrative quality of the line in the figures sewn into the book (or part of the whole design is what I mean to say) is just quite fabby. The way the dresses are sewn reminds me of leaf shapes, veins on leaves, etc. Gosh I just have to get myself one of those darning or free-sewing feet for my machine! I cannot say enough how I adore your work. Have a great weekend yourself Cathy!!! *smiles* Norma

Cathy these little portraits spoke to me too, and I love your stitchery, just wish I could afford one.
Very very tactile work. It's one to own and admire.
