A happy Labor Day weekend too - for those of you over the water, so far away but so near....

If I look forward to September, how can it be that until just now I have forgotten to play one of my most favourite songs? That is 'September' by David Sylvian. I'm sure you can find it on youtube or spotify or one of those, if you do not know it. It's a short, wistful, nostalgic song. It's the sort of song I will listen to during this week which I know is a big one for many of us with children returning to school, the anxiety of this, I understand.....

Autumn is a favourite time of year for the lovely warm sun, that glow, the spider webs (yes I like them), the changing colours, last hints of flowers, the altering shapes of landscape and shadows.... that is why perhaps I am thinking of folk tales and that journey we make from one season into another.... Inspired by the changing days, many of us can have little notebooks with almost 'too many' ideas. Is that how it feels for you right now? Where do you start when you see the months ahead as busy and you want them to be so? I think little baby steps are needed. But also a few giant ones when it feels right. Let's see....

This week I hope to have just a few new items in my shop, on Friday. Thanks always for visiting there and taking a look.
