green acorns - a new poetry cuff

as mentioned, I've been working on new poetry-in-stitch pieces.... I enjoy the challenge of translating my own poems into embroidered works. For this piece I remixed recent poem notes and edited things as I went along to get just the right feel and mood.... I've used a patchwork of hand dyed cotton. There are raw edges and many loose threads. No backing on this cuff - it really has a lively organic feel and I wanted the person holding it to feel some of the energy that went into its making and to see the words in reverse....
