objects I cherish

sepia145
I like organising small groups of objects to inspire and remember.... my sepia photography project is still ongoing, though I seem to be coming up with maybe two or three photos a week.... and I thought autumn would be the best time for this - I think it's called being busy and other stuff happening. But I will get outside in the next week or so and try to capture a few interesting moody scenes....

Delighted to be featured on the Murgatroyd Hoots! blog - I was asked to share some 'workbox' photos - see more here

As I've recently been talking here about lists and list-making I thought I would quickly share a list of objects I cherish - some of these I collect:

handbuilt pottery
wooden thread reels/spools
vintage books
bird brooches
old wooden boxes
rusty tins
vintage knitting needles
sepia photographs
hand made pincushions
vintage dolls house furniture
cotton spun ornaments - I love the work of Maria Pahls
simple dolls
tiny plants
