Hello again, thanks to all the photographers and artists featured in this week's mosaic. As always I encourage you to follow links and discover more...... It's a very windy, rainy start to the week here! I was woken in the night with gales thumping on the window. We have had a very unsettled and not particularly cold winter - so far.

I hope where ever you are in the world that you having a good start to your week. This post is a little later than usual as I have spent the day working on a larger embroidery portrait. Once I get involved in such an intricate piece I often lose track and just have to 'stitch my way out' - one way or the other - and it's a time-consuming process. My focus for embroidery for the months ahead is smaller pieces, especially brooches, but I want to make larger pieces just once in a while. So, I am happy with how my stitching progressed today and I hope to show you the completed work some time tomorrow.....

Meanwhile, I'm making a new series of sketches on paper, especially gouache portraits - these won't be appearing this week, but in a few weeks time as I want to work on these as a group..... It helps sometimes to keep connected/related works together so that I can see them, photograph them together and offer them as a collection of sorts. I'll share about these new works on paper in the coming weeks.

So, I'll be updating my shop again this Wednesday. I'll have a new selection of embroidery works and perhaps a few new works on paper too. Thanks always. Hope to share a 'new works' post here tomorrow....
